“This is a statement on behalf of REJUVENATION, the de-facto co-government of the United Kingdom. As of today, April 6th 2020, the young and economically productive members of our society will no longer be locked out of the systems of wealth and opportunity that were enjoyed by their forbears. The housing crisis will be addressed with immediate effect with national dispersal and re-habitation protocols. Under these, any non-working homeowner aged between sixty and eighty and occupying a band ‘D’ or above property, is expected to accommodate as many economically active living guests as there are surplus bedrooms in the property.”

‘BOOM BUSTERS’ is a brand new one-act play, by local playwright Andy Durham, that has been selected for performance by competing amateur drama groups from all across East Anglia in a competition at The Cut theatre in Halesworth, Suffolk over the weekend of Saturday/Sunday 23rd and 24th February. Saturday is a technical run through, Sunday the performance, and the winning group will be invited to participate in the INK short play festival in Halesworth, Suffolk on 12/13/14 April 2019. INK is a theatre company and registered charity that sources, develops, and produces the best new short plays for stage and radio from writers with an East Anglian connection.

COLCHESTER THEATRE GROUP has decided to enter the competition, and will in addition be performing the play at the Headgate Theatre in association with Headgate Theatre Productions on Wednesday and Thursday 20th and 21st February. CTG’s production will be directed by Joe Oliver Eason.
