Founder Member of Group at 60th AGM

At our AGM on 10th February, new chairman Anne Tomkinson presented a pictorial history of the group, starting with the press coverage of the formation of the Group in 1953 and photos of the first production at the Co-op Hall in Victoria Place. Mentioned in the press was one of the founder, George Harvey Flint, who was with us to celebrate the stat of the 60th Anniversay Year. He told us about his hopes for the group when it was founded and how pleased to see that it still flourished. It was a very special moment.

Anne’s presentation was fascinating and entertaining and everyone asked her to do another one soon.
